About the Study Guide
The Study Guide’s purpose is to encourage participants to embrace the Gospel of Jesus as Followers.
The Study Guide is a 9-session small group resource for churches seeking to embrace the complete Gospel of Jesus, the Christ by exploring the Gospels for what Jesus taught about establishing the Kingdom of God on Earth. Click here to see the Outline of the 9-Sessions.
The Introduction (pgs. 1-4) and The Church Lost Jesus. It’s Not Too Late to Find Him. (pgs. 5-18) make the case that churches have long ignored the Gospel of Jesus and why.
Who is this Jesus of Nazareth? (pgs. 19-28) describes who the “pre-crucified” Jesus was and why that makes Him the Son of God, and what He expects His Followers to do to transform their lives to the complete Gospel of Jesus, the Christ.
One Gospel in Two Parts. (pgs. 29-36) explains how the Gospel of Jesus joins with the Gospel of the Christ to form the complete Gospel of Jesus, the Christ.
Foundational Truths from the Gospel of Jesus. (pgs. 37-40) defines and explains the key teachings of Jesus as viewed through a Gospel of Jesus lens. An outline of 10 Foundational Truths (pgs. 41-140) drawn from the Gospels and interpreted through the Gospel of Jesus by the author.
The Follower’s Creed. is a call-to-action for participants to acknowledge their commitment to follow the Gospel of Jesus as Jesus taught, ushing in the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven.
